I’m in Hilo, HI today and I’m looking for good grinds (food). My Local friend Helen Rosehill, born and raised in Hilo, said #blanesdriveinn is the place. So I ordered a roast pork plate. Yum. Comes with local style Mac salad, roasted pork smothered in gravy and 2 scoops rice. I’m loving it.

Relaxing to Rockie’s Famous Fish Bites, and samples of the Red Giant Ale and Dark Sabbath Ale at Big Island Brewhaus in Kamuela on Hawaii Island. I love a good red ale. With a rich blend of light and dark caramel malts accented by toffee flavors? No wonder it’s a won multiple awards. The Dark Sabbath with its Belgian yeast yields wonderful cherry, fig, and citrus flavors that are guaranteed to leave you satisfied. Yum!! Thanks Brewmaster Tom.
